Oh, yes! Left Hand Red are playing at The Good Companions in Peacehaven as part of the "Headbangers’ Tea-party" on Saturday 18th June. First band is on about 19:30 and LHR are on about 20:15. Finish is around closing time at 23:00.

It’s Left Hand Red’s first pub gig, and also the first with their new bass player - me! Entry is free, so you’ve got no excuses to miss it.
Rather than (aspiring to) develop my own PHP-based system for posting news, I thought I’d try out WordPress, which is a free blogging package. It’s even Standards Compliant, which is very important as far as I’m concerned. For a start it’ll make it much easier to bend to my will. Muhahaha!
First impressions are good - it’s very easy to use and might encourage me to use this site for more than just practicing my CSS skills!
Just returned from a terrific couple of days at the @media conference in London, where I was in the presence of some quite significant and magnificent web people from both sides of the Atlantic.
The two-day event featured a range of varied and fantastic presentations on web design and accessibility, including talks from Brighton’s own Andy Budd and Jeremy Keith.
To cut a long story short, I think it’s inspired/shamed me in to getting this page in order and start actually writing and designing! Watch this space (but don’t stare too long)!
